So we usually use these posts to talk about whatever new thing we're doing or how awesome we are. But this one is about a good friend of the band, Marthalicia Matarrita. Martha and BR went to high school together back in the day; both of them were in the art program. BR used to freestyle and write with Martha's brothers.
Fast forward a few years: Martha is doing big things all over NYC. She is painting live at clubs all over, working with names like Styles P and Talib Kweli. Some of us are checking out a show she'll be a part of tonight at Crash Mansion. BR and Timebomb were lucky enough to work with her on a few shows we put together at Club Europa in Brooklyn.
