The TIME IS NOW!
We are going on tour! The TIME IS NOW TOUR 2010 IS HAPPENING! This summer, we are making our way around Ohio, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, NJ and of course New York City to bring the music that only we can bring to people of all shades, ethnicities and walks of life. We may get tired, malnourished, dehydrated, whatever, but we're gonna have fun and make money doin it. This tour includes the dates listed in our show schedule above as well as a few more that are yet to be confirmed. And like we do every summer, we will be doin it up with the free shows in the parks of NYC for the kids, the natives, the tourists and the whole family. Its gonna be even better than last year...cuz we're better than last year. Check out our show schedule to see which concerts are convenient for you and please come and join us as we continue and intensify our quest for music supremacy. In all seriousness, we want to thank the people that have been helping us get where we are and accomplish what we're accomplishing, people like Rosa Hyde, Eilleen Trilli, Illard Scott, Amira El-Beatty, Kathy Clutterbuck-Nor, Rosalyn Briggs, Taylor Ryan and AM Studios and everybody that comes to shows, buys cds/downloads or helps promote us. What's New with the Bomb? A List in 5 Parts
1. We are putting the final touches on a DVD that includes live footage from our January 9 anniversary show and some of our best over the years; a photo gallery; and biographies of the members.
2. We posted 2 sneak previews of the DVD up on Youtube. These are also 2 of our newest songs.
3. On Sunday, February 7, the band gets interviewed by Make It Happen Entertainment, as part of their Grooveology show at the Sip Bar.
4. We're preparing a lot of new music for our second album. If you came to Kenny's Castaways last night (Wed. 2/3/10), then you heard some of it.
5. We have 2 big shows at Kenny's Castaways in March: 3/11 as part of the Daddy Tapes American Heart Association fundraiser, and 3/12 with Devlin Miles!

Am I gonna have to change my name?
BR is short for Beyond Recognition. I like this name. I was given this name 17 years ago by a OG because he said my art and lyrics here on a higher level that some people cant perceive. It was also a reference to the term "burnt beyond recognition" cuz I was doing things we dont type about on the internet. Needless to say, I'm not a pyromaniac or any of that anymore so the double meaning is gone but it looks like the other meaning might not be true much longer either. I just saw that 2 more blogs posted about us and in general, our popularity is steadily rising. We appreciate all the support. This is exactly the kind of progress we want and need. But when people know who we are, am I still "Beyond Recognition"? Guess we'll have to stay a few steps ahead then. Thanks to Two Groove, IndieHipHop.net, Jubox and Skope Mag for the coverage.
